Granite price by colour

Colour is the single biggest driver of price — it tracks how common the deposit is, not how it looks. This is sometimes searched as granite pathar price; the rates below are the same list either way, indicative per square foot, ex-works.

Thickness, finish and grade: what changes the price

Thickness moves the price because a thinner slab yields more square feet from the same block — 16mm typically costs less per sq ft than 30mm of the same colour. Finish is the next factor: polished is the standard and cheapest; leathered, flamed and lapotra cost more to produce and are priced above it. Grade reflects how much of a block is usable — Commercial grade has more natural variation and costs less than Standard or Select, which are cut from cleaner sections of the same block.

All prices below are shown in ₹ INR, $ USD or € EUR, and change live as you adjust thickness, finish, grade, slab size and colour in the filters.

Why does granite price vary so much?

Two slabs of the same colour can differ by INR 100 per sq ft, and the reason is arithmetic, not mark-up. Block rate, royalty and freight give a landed cost per cubic foot. Processing cost is added for the chosen finish. That total is divided by the recovery factor — how many square feet actually come out of a cubic foot of block at your chosen thickness — before margin is added. Colours like Alaska White Granite, Fantasy Brown Granite and Blue Dunes Granite price higher because their blocks recover fewer clean slabs, not because the stone is rarer.

What These Prices Include

  • INR prices include 18% GST (HSN 6802). USD and EUR prices are shown ex-GST, as export supply is zero-rated.
  • All prices are ex-works per sq ft. Packing, loading, freight and insurance are quoted separately.
  • Figures update with the size (cutter/gangsaw), colour, grade, thickness, finish and currency you select above.
  • Rates move with block availability, processing load and order quantity. Custom sizes and finishes outside the listed options are quoted on request.

What to check before you order

Price alone tells you little without the specification behind it. Before comparing quotes from different suppliers, confirm four things: the thickness being quoted, whether it's gangsaw or cutter, the grade selection, and whether GST and freight are included. A quote that looks 20% cheaper usually differs on one of those four rather than being a genuinely better price.

Why We Publish Prices When Most Suppliers Don't

Most stone suppliers quote only on enquiry, which wastes your time before you even know if the material fits your budget.

At Stone Galleria, these figures come from our own processing costs across four units in Kishangarh, Jalore and Pali — not a market estimate.

A published rate is checkable. If ours is wrong for your specification, you can tell us before spending time on it — a better position than working from a quote you have no way to verify.

What These Figures Are

  • Calculated from block rate, royalty, freight, processing cost and recovery at our own units
  • Ex-works per sq ft, with GST and exclusions stated rather than buried
  • Reviewed against current block purchase rates
  • A starting point for a budget, not a substitute for a firm quote against your drawing

What They're Not

  • Not a firm offer — availability and quantity change the number
  • Not inclusive of transport, installation or edge work
  • Not comparable to a delivered rate from another supplier without adjusting for freight
  • Not applicable to custom sizes or finishes outside the listed options

Where to Go Next

If the range fits your budget, send your quantity and specification and we'll quote against it directly.
