This policy outlines our standard domestic shipping practices, delivery timelines, packaging approach — granite packaging, tracking process, and buyer responsibilities.

Delivery available across India. All freight rates are quoted and billed in Indian Rupees (INR).
Our deliveries are handled through trusted logistics networks, including road and container transportation.

Each order undergoes a detailed verification and processing stage before dispatch.

Processing is initiated only after order confirmation and customer approval of specifications.
Handling time (order preparation and verification) typically ranges from 3 to 15 business days.

Delivery timelines vary based on distance, order size, and location:
  • Metro Cities: Typically 4–5 business days
  • Other Locations: Typically5–10 business days
Delivery timelines are calculated from the date of dispatch.
Total delivery time = Handling time + Transit time. Note: The aforementioned timeframe is an estimate and may change depending on the actual situation.

Products are transported directly from our factory or warehouse to your site using:
  • Truck delivery for inland routes
  • Container transport for coastal or port-based towns wherever economically viable
Currently, part shipment is not available. We are working towards offering split deliveries in the near future.

Shipping is charged based on actual transport cost calculated from total shipment weight (in tons) and delivery distance.
Total Freight = Weight (in tons) × Freight Rate (INR per ton)
We charge our customers exactly what we pay for shipping with common carriers.
Freight rates are quoted at actuals during order confirmation.
Customers may also arrange their own transportation—in such cases, we will share transporter contact details upon request.
No additional convenience, packaging, or handling fees are charged beyond the quoted freight cost.

All stone products are safely packed and loaded at our dispatch location following strict handling guidelines to minimize damage.

At the site location, unloading and handling are the buyer’s responsibility.

Transit insurance can be arranged on request prior to dispatch for high-value or large consignments.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive complete tracking details via email or WhatsApp.
The tracking link allows you to monitor shipment status, estimated delivery time, and any logistics updates in real time.

While deliveries usually arrive within 7–10 days, occasional delays due to transportation, weather, or unforeseen logistics constraints are beyond our control.
As stone materials are heavy and natural, a 2–5% transit damage margin should be expected.
Customers are advised to inspect goods upon arrival and report issues promptly.

To ensure the safe unloading and installation of stone slabs and tiles, please follow these important guidelines:
  • Use proper handling equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or slab lifters to unload the material safely. Avoid manual handling wherever possible due to the heavy weight of natural stone.
  • Always keep slabs in an upright position on sturdy A-frames or slab stands after unloading.
  • Do not lean slabs directly against walls or unstable surfaces, as the weight can cause breakage or serious accidents.
  • Inspect all slabs and tiles upon delivery before signing off with the transporter. Report any visible damage immediately.
  • Ensure the storage area is level and dry, and protected from mud, water, or chemical exposure.

International Shipping & Delivery Policy (Exports)

At Stone Galleria LLP, we export Indian natural stone products to clients worldwide. Our international shipping operations are designed to ensure safe transit, clear customs handling, and timely delivery to your destination.

This policy outlines our global shipping practices, lead times, packaging process, freight calculation, and buyer guidelines.

We export across major international markets including North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Australia.
If your country or port is not listed on our regular routes, please contact our export team for a custom quotation.
All international shipments are billed in United States Dollars (USD) or Indian Rupees (INR) as per buyer preference.

Each international order undergoes verification, documentation, and packaging prior to shipment.
Orders are processed after Proforma Invoice (PI) acceptance and advance payment confirmation.
Handling time (Lead time): 7–20 business days depending on order size, custom processing, and container planning.

Stone Galleria LLP makes every effort to coordinate shipments on scheduled vessels to ensure timely delivery. However, vessel sailing schedules and availability are controlled by third-party carriers and shipping lines and are therefore beyond our direct control.

Shipments are routed through sea containers (FCL/LCL).
  • Sea Freight: Suitable for full container orders (20ft/40ft). Uses trusted shipping lines operating from key Indian ports such as Mundra.
  • Inland Transport: Coordinated via container trucks from factory to port.
  • Stone Galleria manages complete logistics through CIF, FOB, or Ex-Works terms, as per buyer agreement.

Freight is computed based on Incoterm (e.g., FOB, CIF, CFR) and port destination.
All charges quoted are actuals from carriers, with no hidden markups or surcharges.
Local government-imposed taxes, customs duties, or port fees are excluded and borne by the consignee.
Buyers may also appoint their own freight forwarder (nominated shipment) — our dispatch team will coordinate loading, packing and documentation.

All export consignments are packed by trained professionals at our facility.
We use fumigated wooden crates, waterproof lamination, foam protection, and secure A-frame bracing to prevent slab movement during sea transport.

Comprehensive Marine Cargo Insurance can be arranged upon request to cover potential damage or loss in transit.
Clients must request insurance before dispatch confirmation.

Once the container is booked and shipped, tracking details (Bill of Lading / AWB and vessel schedule) are shared via email.
Real-time tracking links enable you to monitor consignments through the carrier portal.
All export documentation (invoice, packing list, BL, Form-A, COA) is digitally shared for import clearance preparation.

We work with reliable carriers; however, delays due to port congestion, customs clearance, or weather conditions may occur and are outside our control.
Transit damage allowance for stone (approx. 2–5%) applies globally. Buyers are requested to inspect materials immediately upon receipt and file claims within 48 hours.

Upon container arrival:
  • Ensure you have cranes/forklifts for unloading.
  • Always store slabs upright on A-frames or stone stands.
  • Avoid stacking stone directly on soil or damp areas.
  • Inspect goods before signing off delivery documents.

Due to the nature of international shipping, returns are not accepted once goods leave factory gates.

FAQ About Stone Galleria’s Shipping and Delivery

Unlike small, lightweight products, natural stone slabs and tiles are extremely heavy and require specialized logistics. Shipping costs are calculated separately based on order size, weight, and destination. We prefer transparent pricing rather than inflating product rates.

Yes, you’re welcome to arrange your own transport or logistics service for pickup from our factory. We understand that some buyers prefer using their trusted transporters, especially for bulk orders or repeat shipments.

Yes, insurance is optional but highly recommended — especially for long-distance or export shipments. It covers damage or loss during transit.

Yes, we can deliver to your site or warehouse depending on accessibility and vehicle entry permissions. Please inform us at the time of order.

No, we do not provide unloading services at the delivery site. Our responsibility ends once the material is safely loaded and dispatched from our factory.

No, we do not offer Cash on Delivery at this time. All orders are processed and dispatched only after receiving 100% payment in advance.

Due to the use of dedicated trucks or containers for shipments, the freight costs — including return charges in case of non-acceptance — can often exceed the value of the product itself. Hence, we ship only after receiving full payment to ensure smooth, secure, and cost-effective delivery for all our buyers.
